Wildlife Tours with Nick

Nick is one of the UK's most established wildlife tour leaders. He has escorted trips to numerous countries in four continents, although his strengths lie in Madagascar, the Indian Subcontinent, Borneo and East and Southern Africa. While mammals may be his first love (particularly in Madagascar), he very much regards himself as an all around zoologist, taking equal interest in mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and where possible invertebrates. This diversity is very much reflected in the way his tours are conducted: his philosophy being "better to wait, watch and enjoy", rather than move on quickly for the sake of perhaps seeing something new or different. This attitude in combination with his easy-going style, make him an ideal guide for relaxed and fulfilling wildlife tours.

Nick is one of the leading authorities on the wildlife of Madagascar. He has travelled the length and breadth of the island, visited all the major national parks and reserves and has seen virtually all the 55 different varieties of lemur in the wild, plus a very high proportion of the other endemic fauna. His enthusiasm for the country and its wildlife is infectious ensuring that all who travel with him gain the maximum from their trip and leave with treasured memories.

He currently works in conjunction with four UK based wildlife tour operators, not only as a leader, but also as an advisor on the best parks and reserves to visit and the ideal way of combining these to create balanced itineraries.
