Many-banded Aracari (Pteroglossus pluricinctus) The Festival of Wildlife is an event like no other. It is a unique group trip that brings together clients and wildlife experts from varied fields to enjoy a packed but fun-filled itinerary of wildlife viewing, workshops, presentations, master-classes and general wildlife related discussion. The event is also very much about promoting and supporting conservation projects, particularly those local to each destination. Past Festivals has so far raised in excess of £100,000 for local communities and wildlife conservation.

Male Jaguar (Panthera onca)Nick is delighted to have been invited for the fourth time to take part in the annual Festival of Wildlife. On previous Festivals, to India, British Columbia and Madagascar, Nick has shared his natural history knowledge and photographic skills with many clients and will again be doing so on the Festival in the Pantanal in 2010.

Nick says of the Festival, "I spend 6 to 7 months a year travelling and visiting some of the world's most renowned wildlife locations. There's always enjoyment and excitement, but nonetheless some trips can become "routine". Rainforest canopy The Festival of Wildlife is certainly not one of them, and my involvement is something I've come to look forward to every year. Each Festival is different, yet each combines a wonderful mixture of great wildlife and breathtaking locations with a terrific social scene and camaraderie. The memories are cherished and linger and each Festival seems to be better than the last. The next Festival in the Pantanal in 2010, is sure to continue this trend.”
