Seeing Tigers is often a priority for many visitors and Bandhavgarh, Kanha and
Ranthambhore National Parks are certainly the three best places to look. These
parks also harbour large numbers of other mammals, like, Sambar, Chital, Indian
Gazelle, Golden Jackal, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Indian Wild Dog (Kanha only), Gaur
(Kanha only) and Barasingha (Kanha only). The bird life too is extremely rich
and diverse.
By contrast, Kaziranga National Park in Assam is home to half the remaining total population of Indian One-horned Rhinos. It is also one of the few places where truly wild Asiatic Buffalo still occur and there are Asiatic Elephants.

Corbett National Park nestles in the lowlands beneath the Himalayas. It is classic Tiger country (although they are tough to see) and is home to a substantial population of Elephants as well as many of the commoner Indian mammals. Due to the proximity of the mountains, the bird life is both varied and different and in the foothills around neighbouring Nainital, new species appear with successive increases in altitude.

Indian Roller
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is considered one of
the world's wildlife wonders. This wetland supports vast numbers of birds and
during the breeding season trees overflow with nesting storks, spoonbills, egrets
and kingfishers. There are also healthy populations of mammals and impressive
reptiles like Indian Rock Python. Throughout these tours the accommodation has
been chosen to provide both high standards and the best of wildlife watching
opportunities.
