British Columbia: Grizzly Bears and the Salmon Run
September 2011
The annual migration of salmon up the rivers of British Columbia creates a feast that attracts scores of Grizzly Bears and produces one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles. Between August and October the fishes migrations cycle brings millions of salmon into the regions crystal rivers and Grizzly Bears and Black Bears gather in anticipation. Here sows (females) with cubs and large boars (males) gorge themselves to fatten up for winter hibernation. Witnessing and photographing this gathering is one of the "must see" events of the natural world.
Be there to see it yourself, and join Nick on this safari tailored with photographers in mind.
