Talks and Lecture Evenings
Nick is available for lectures and lecture evenings covering a wide range of topics. Previously he has lectured for the Royal Geographical Society, Royal Scottish Geographical Society, RSPB, WWF and a variety of county wildlife trusts, plus many local natural history and photographic societies and groups.
His beautifully illustrated talks are pitched at natural history and photographic enthusiasts and above all else aim to be entertaining. During a talk, he will not only cover many aspects of natural history, but depending on subject, will also bring in elements of conservation and these will be interspersed with anecdotes and stories from his extensive travels.
A typical lecture evening consists of an illustrated talk on the chosen subject, that lasts around 1 hour or more, plus Q&A (talks are normally illustrated with 130 + images). In addition there is an extra photo-presentation set to music. Entitled, “Wild Side if Life”, this visual feast is a montage of Nick’s favourite wildlife and places from around the world and lasts around 30 minutes.
Lecture evenings are priced from £500 + VAT plus travel expenses.
Examples of lecture titles are outlined below. Other titles are available by request. Please contact Nick to discuss you requirements.
