Stock Photo LibraryNick first picked up a camera during a student expedition to Sarawak in 1988 and spent three months taking abysmal pictures of Proboscis Monkeys. However, he was instantly hooked and has subsequently become well established in professional photographic circles. He has been published in prestigious magazines like National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, NaturFoto, Africa Geographic and Africa Bird's & Birding, Outdoor Photography and Travel Photography. His work has also been recognisd in international competitions. Nick has also twice been a winner of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.
He is best known for his work in Madagascar, where he has concentrated much of his efforts and now has perhaps the largest and most comprehensive single photographer collection of wildlife and habitats from this remarkable island. This includes high quality images of endangered species rarely previously photographed. He is also devoting increasing time to photographing the wildlife of Borneo and the Indian Sub-continent and gathers new images from East and Southern Africa annually.
