About Nick

Stock Photo Library

Nick first picked up a camera during a student expedition to Sarawak in 1988 and spent three months taking abysmal pictures of Proboscis Monkeys. However, he was instantly hooked and has subsequently become well established in professional photographic circles. He has been published in prestigious magazines like National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, NaturFoto, Africa Geographic and Africa Bird's & Birding, Outdoor Photography and Travel Photography.

His work has also been recognisd in international competitions. Nick has also twice been a winner of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.

Please see Awards Page for details.

He is best known for his work in Madagascar, where he has concentrated much of his efforts and now has perhaps the largest and most comprehensive single photographer collection of wildlife and habitats from this remarkable island. This includes high quality images of endangered species rarely previously photographed.

He is also devoting increasing time to photographing the wildlife of Borneo and the Indian Sub-continent and gathers new images from East and Southern Africa annually.

His work is marketed by a number of leading photographic agencies:

· Natural History Photographic Agency (NHPA) www.nhpa.co.uk
· Nature Picture Library www.naturepl.com
· Okapia Germany www.okapia.com
· Wild Images / RSPCA

The following is a list of species available from Nick's own Indri Images Library.
