Over the years Nick has taken part in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition on several occasions and with some success. He has twice been a category winner, including the highly prestigious Gerald Durrell Award for Endangered Wildlife in 2000, and has also had several Highly or Specially Commended entries.
